We were asked to make online videos for various products for different parts of the day. For both the restaurants and the delivery department of McDonald's. My assignment was to make 144 online videos based on a template that is filled by an Excel file. I started by proposing various animation styles after which I started to work out various formats in a template for the chosen version. This was followed by the technical setup of the Excel file. In this file it is possible to enter product names and call to actions. Links to headings (which are created in Illustrator), product photos, backgrounds and logos can also be entered here. By means of a simplified selection menu it was possible for the account people to simply fill in the required assets in a list. After filling in this list I was able to make an export of it which I imported into Adobe After Effects and generated the 144 videos with a few clicks.
